Born in Unicoi, located in East TN, I grew up fishing creeks and rivers as a kid. My dad instilled a love for the outdoors at a very early age.

In fact, he and I have fished team tournaments since I was 13. We are still tournament buddies and have been fortunate to win many along the way.

Learning to catch the mixed variety of bass (Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted Bass) on our area lakes has enabled me to be successful on local and regional tournament trails.

My wife and I have been married for over 20 years and have a son who will be attending Vanderbilt and a daughter at UCHS. Sports and school activities keep us continually on the go and I love it!

3B Outdoors truly presents an opportunity to hang out with a great bunch of guys. Catching a big one on a Pop R while the camera is rolling keeps me coming back for more.  Top water is my love, but, flipping, pitching and shallow water bass fishing is my passion.  I love to hunt in the fall seasons. But, the thrill of tournament bass fishing always draws me back to the water….
Tournament bass fishing success is very difficult with top notch competition at all levels.  Local lakes like Boone, South Holston, Cherokee and Douglas lake has taught me to be versatile and I truly believe this helps me in tournaments I compete in.

Some of my accomplishments listed are below.

* 2-Time Best of Best Champion, 2nd Place Bassmaster BP Top 150 Lake Norman (co-angler), 4 BFL Wins, 28 BFL/FLW Top 10 finishes, 2-Time Yamaha Be-The-Best Points Champion (BFL), 3 times – BAIT Team points champion (VA division) j17 times – BFL Regional Qualifier, Qualified for Red Man All-American in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, Numerous BAIT and Bill Gatton Team Trail wins, and Largest Bass – 9lb 15oz. (Chickamauga Lake, TN)
