I have been blessed since I was two years old to have family and friends in my life that introduced me to and allowed me to fulfill my passion for the outdoors. Before I was old enough to drive I remember vividly how my mom and grandfather would take me hunting and fishing and then waited patiently in the car for hours while I pursued a squirrel or trout. My passion has continued to grow! The outdoors has been and still is a true blessing in my life.

The fellowship with my family and friends in our common outdoor interests led me to my current passion of river smallmouth fishing and whitetail deer hunting. I was the owner / guide of Northfork Guide Service for six years, guiding primarily on the New River for Big Smallies.

During that time I was featured in two editions of Bassmaster Magazine, and numerous articles in Va. Game & Fish, Fur, Fish and Game and other publications.

While having my name written in Bassmaster Magazine is very exciting for a country boy from Southwest Va., it cannot compare to knowing that my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I am a born again Christian because of God’s Amazing Grace and unconditional love for me and through my faith in Jesus Christ.

I live in Saltville, Va. with my lovely wife Kathy, and we have two wonderful children, our son Jordan and daughter Laken. I am a bi-vocational guy, being the Pastor of Freedom Baptist Church in Saltville,VA and Pharmacy Manager at Glade Pharmacy, in Glade Spring, VA.

God has further blessed me way beyond what I could have imagined in allowing me the privilege to be associated and a member of the 3B Outdoors team. Plainly stated “They Are GOOD People!!.”
